Dotwork Handpoke Tattoo Artist Bristol Hannya Jayne

My style of tattooing has evolved tremendously over the years. Early on, working for so many years in a busy walk-in studio it enabled me become a versatile artist, which later on allowed me the freedom to explore many styles.

For a time my work was very illustrative and colourful, I adored the emotions that big bold colours inspired. Then it reached a point where I couldn't ignore the pull of Geometric Tattoos and working primarily in Black n' Grey. Quite a dramatic change.

Complimentary to my Dotwork & Geometric tattooing I have been tattooing Machine free again. Which is a really beautiful experience.

This has been largely due to my ever growing study of Shamanism, Ancient & Indigenous Cultures healing and rituals around body modification and most recently Witchcraft.

I am a little bit of a eclectic magpie by nature, so I can't stick with one style of tattooing (even though it would make life easier) I still love tattooing Black & Grey, Brushstroke & my signature 'Sketchy Mandalas' - I couldn't ever stop tattooing them I love them so much.

I'm proud to have many of my tattoos published in various Tattoo Magazines & websites.

In 2017 I had A 6-page Article in Skin Deep tattoo magazine.

I've also been featured in a Daily Mail article about tattooing and online blogs such as Inkluded & Tattoodo.

My drawings & paintings have been published in US art books & displayed in Art Galleries/Exhibitions here in the UK.

I have been tattooing professionally in both
